so i’ve been wanting to watch a movie for like forever but i happen to be always busy with school. and now that we’re having a mini-break, i had the privilege to go to various internet sites to look for films with interesting plots or maybe just actors or actresses i like. then i found myself in imdb.com and found her…

yes her… she’s probably familiar to most people… i first knew and liked her as the very shy, friendly, clumsy(?) and musically-inclined girl Addie Singer in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous, which is btw one of the best Nick series imo. Then i later knew that she was the niece of Julia Roberts.. so my love for her didn’t change and now i found out that she has done lots of movies at a very young age and my admiration just grew even stronger… I’m currently searching her films and will watch all of them online. Yeah, even if I don’t sleep, I have to watch her films..

That’s what this lesbo crush of means to me.. LOL.

a funny post. btw, for those who do not know, alona is the family’s personal hairstylist. i wanted to get a haircut for like forever now and i just got it. and i feel like it suits me well. yey! just a few instructions and *poof*… i look pretty again! :D my sister said my new ‘do looks like Baekhee’s in dream high. well, i’m not sure if it is but either way, i know it looks good!

A little over a month and my days as a freshman medical student will be over. I may not be the greatest student there will ever be but I am banking on my passion and sincerity on wanting to help people. After all, medicine is a “people” profession, if I may say so. Others may say I’m delusional and all but earlier today, one of my favorite first year instructors, strengthened my belief..

Medicine is primarily for service to humanity. Profit and prestige are only secondary. So if you are pursuing medicine for those two reasons, you should stop now because you’ll only be disappointed.

I believe you Dr. Estrada. And thank you very much for this thought. Who would have thought that your mini “talk” earlier would give me enough fuel to continue from this day on until my last days as a freshman medical student? Thank you very much…
